World UFO Day

July 2, 2014 is World UFO Day.
It is all about celebrating UFO's and extraterrestrial life!
If you are interested in looking at documentaries on UFO's or extraterrestrial life then click the blue links! I haven't had any personal experience for either of these but that doesn't mean I haven't stopped looking up at the stars.
It is scientifically impossible for their not to be other life out in the universe, because the universe is constantly expanding and has no end. There has to be more than millions and millions of planets out there just like earth that are just close enough and far enough from some distant sun to harbor life forms.
And who is to say that these Beings aren't more technologically advanced then us?
Think of Star Trek, and how in TNG they kept watch over planets that weren't technologically ready to know about other worlds. We are not technologically ready, we are plagued with war and hatred and we have so many problems that we aren't fully committed to fixing. Maybe there are others out in the universe that are checking up on us to see if we are ready to join some higher group of peaceful hippy aliens.
Or something like that. As you can see I deffinetly believe. I mean-- I'm a Trekkie, what did you expect from me? I'm always boldly believing. :)

So it is World UFO Day and you are wondering how to really celebrate, right? Well no problem. This holiday has a web page! Here it is: http://www.worldufoday.com/
They have pages about how to celebrate the day, recognize UFOs, even report them! I already shared the link to their documentaries in the beginning of the post.
So get excited! Watch the sky! And if you see any UFO's, flash them a peace sign and your best smile! We don't want to make a bad first impression!

I'm am going to leave the celebrating to you, but I would like to share just two video montages of only just some of the Captain's best moments.

Star Trek: TNG and American Romanticism

As a student, I push boundaries and go where none of my fellow students have gone before. Meaning: I base my school work and projects off Star Trek when ever I get the chance.

I wrote a paper in my 10th grade year about how TNG is very romantic. Not the lovey- mush romantic, romantic as in the American and European Romanticism movement, it was artistic, literary, and an intellectual movement.
So, if you find this idea interesting, want to learn more about my reasons, or just wish to silently chuckle over my 10th grade writing style, then I would be very honored if you read my paper.
I got a 95 on it! :)
