VA Comicon August 31 REVIEW

Woah, I have totally missed Comicon! Can we just all get together and make sure there is a Comicon every weekend because THIS COMICON was SO AWESOME! There were the coolest cosplays and some seriously great vendors! I got to see my two favorite artists Bert and Lee Lacy! Love them! Even though one of them couldn't name my costume ;)

(I was an Orion Slave Woman from Star Trek Enterprise. Gosh)

I also got to know Matt Slay who does really fantastic illustration and design! I got this really cool maleficent poster from him. Here is a photo of myself and my two friends Kendall and Goldie checking out all the art this guy had.

And just in case you were wondering, yes the 501st Legion was there. They are so cool, and that is coming from a die-hard Trekkie! I really need to get some photos with them!

SPEAKING OF PHOTOS lets talk about the photogrophers! Strike and Hide and Howell's Visions Photography were both there and were both taking some serious awesome pictures! VA Comicon August 31

I am so excited for the next VA Comicon! 

It will be Sunday August 31 at the Clarion at 3207 N Blvd, Richmond, VA 23230.

My favorite artists Bert and Lee Lacy will be there as well as a lot of other really awesome vendors!

If you are a VIP (10$ ticket) you can check in at 9:30 and enter the Vendor area at 10, if you are just the average comicon- go-er (is there really such a thing?) (5$ ticket) then you can check in at 10 and enter at 11! The costume contest starts at 3:00 and as far as this post goes, the comic con will end at 4:00. 

I've been working on a costume and can't wait to get my Comicon on! Hope to see some old faces and make some new friends!
